Hey, just recently, about a week ago, WoW stopped working for me. At first when it stopped working, it told me it had trouble connecting and to try again later. After using the repair tool twice, reinstalling it once, and beginning a fresh install over my reinstall, it now tells me that I need a battle.net account in order to play, or it gets stuck on 'authenticating'. I've checked on a few friends' computers and my account works perfectly well. The characters are unscathed and memory is beautiful. I'm wondering why it refuses and gives me several different reasons for this connection failure.

Note: After reinstalling and repairing for the second time. It told me that I wasn't allowed to even uninstall (even through my 'control panel') And for a day or two, wouldn't even let me open to the WoW sign-on screen because it was unable to detect some file. All of my files and patches are up to date; and my realmlist is in good terms: set realmlist tfaconnect.org

Any kind of advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Well uninstall WoW all together. another simple way of getting rid of it is going into your C drive (or were ever you installed it to) and just deleting the whole folder. And after that find any other folders that may be related to WoW, like ones in your documents and so on, get rid of them as well. Once you have that, do a fresh reinstall, and when prompted to update do not use the auto updater, Use a website to manually get the patches, this might take some time and be a pain but meh. After all that is said and done make sure to change your list, then in your wow folder copy WoW.exe or in some cases it is just called wow and past it as a shortcut on your desktop. I hope all this helps and look forward to seeing you on the server. Oh and the reason it might not let you uninstall it is, make sure nothing related to WoW is open, or running. Press ctr-alt-del open task manager and look for anything that says WoW.exe or something like that.
