TFA Project is a NON-Profit organization. The donation gifts go into a Paypal fund which helps support the server in whatever way we need the money. Most of the money goes towards server upgrades, like new server parts, and some of it go to some of the bills that help keep the server online, like the website and internet bill (which is now a standalone line that does not include phone service). To cut it down, the donations help me provide you with an environment useful for my testing purposes on TFA Project.
